Faith

Tony Isaac, February 17, 2006

People who believe in evolution claim to base their theory on science.  They ridicule people who believe in Creation, saying that their views are based only on faith, blindly refusing to see reality.

Evolution is Based on Faith

According to WikiPedia, physicists "do not widely agree on what happened before [the Big Bang]." In other words, they don't really know.  Scientists also don't really know how life began.

Not knowing how something happened is not a bad thing in itself.  After all, the goal of science is to find answers to questions with no known answer.  But these questions demand an answer, because the answer determines whether all the rest of the theory of evolution stands intact, or falls to pieces.

Yet in spite of their lack of evidence or a plausible theory, scientists cling to their belief in evolution.  They have to, because if the Universe, and life, didn't begin on their own, then they must have been created.  If they were created, then there would have to be a God.  If there is a God, He might demand an accounting of us.

Evolution is not science--it is an article of faith.
